Below is a description of each communication type that is available for request.
Important Reminders:
- Please refrain from using ALL CAPS in your messages.
- All submitted messaging must be text only (copy-and-pasteable) with optional photo attachments.
- Submissions must abide by the community's governing documents and policies.
- We do our best to feature all CCGA submissions; however, when we receive more content than we can accommodate, we may need to prioritize items based on timing, relevance, overall space available, and CCGA communications hierarchy.
Bayou Buzz (Monthly Magazine) - A monthly magazine sent via US postal mail to homeowners on the 1st of the month. All club and group announcements or articles must be submitted by the 9th of the month prior. (For example, submit your request by Sept 9th for publication in the October Bayou Buzz.) Requests submitted after the deadline will be included in the following month's magazine.
Sweetgrass Breeze (Weekly E-blast) - A weekly email highlighting HOA and club/group events sent on Fridays (except in the event of an HOA holiday). All announcement requests must be submitted by 3 PM each Thursday to be included in the following day's E-blast. Requests submitted after the deadline will be included in the following week's E-blast.
**Please note: The Breeze is intended for time-sensitive, community-wide announcements and upcoming events. It is not intended for internal club communications, event recaps, thank-you's, articles, or events scheduled more than a few weeks in the future. For articles and event recaps, we encourage you to submit your request to the Buzz! Club-specific messages/announcements should be communicated by club leaders directly to their members. This helps keep the E-blast focused and easy to read, and makes sure each message reaches the right audience in the most effective way.
SweetgrassTV (Digital Bulletin) - A digital bulletin highlighting HOA and club/group events on TVs throughout the Lakehouse. SweetgrassTV submissions must be in text form only. All submitted requests must include the following information: Event Name, Date, Time, Location, and key/essential information. Sweetgrass TV is updated/uploaded on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. All requests must be submitted by 3 PM on the Thursday prior to the upload day.
