Architectural Review

The purpose of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is to review and approve applications for exterior modifications in accordance with the HOA’s design guidelines.

Finance Committee

The purpose of the Finance Committee is to provide assistance to the Association’s Board of Directors by performing duties including, but not limited to:
  •  Reviewing the Association’s monthly financial statements.
  •  Providing input for preparation of the annual budget.
  •  Providing input for funding of reserves.
  •  Reviewing the annual audit of the Association’s financial records.
  •  Reviewing the reserve study.
  •  Providing information regarding Association finances to the members.
  •  Assisting the Board in any other financial matters as needed.

Health and Wellness Committee

The purpose of this committee is to evaluate and assist in the creation of an effective, active adult health and wellness program for the Sweetgrass Community residents. 

Needs Assessment

The Needs Assessment Advisory Committee assists in reviewing the “wants” and “needs” of the community and make recommendations to the Board which capital project (s) or equipment purchases will meet the real needs of the community.

Purple Martin

The purpose of the Purple Martin Committee is to review the feasibility of installing Purple Martin houses in the common areas of the community which may entail community meetings and education.

Social Committee

The purpose of the committee is to assist in the planning and implementation of social events along with DWSGHOA management.

Welcome Committee

Upon moving into Sweetgrass, residents are greeted by one of the committee members and given an information packet with items such as the lifestyle calendar, a list of important phone numbers and a guide to navigating through These visits are meant to ease the resident into their new life and give them an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the community.
