Committees, Clubs, Groups & Activities

Sweetgrass is where amenities and lifestyles all come together to create a community. Whether you are interested in joining one of our committees or want to dive into our various clubs or groups, this page will help you find what you seek.

Committees

A Sweetgrass Committee is a Board appointed group of residents designed to support the mission of the Board of Directors. The committee comprises members who volunteer to serve, and are approved by the Board of Directors.

Chartered Clubs

Chartered Clubs are official HOA clubs comprised of a group of Sweetgrass residents that share a common interest in a hobby, social, cultural, or recreational activity. Chartered Clubs have met the Board-approved criteria required for chartering, and have both applied for/been approved for a formal charter. Chartered Clubs are eligible for special benefits under the HOA, designed to enhance their activities and provide support for their events and initiatives. These benefits may include access to shared resources, promotional opportunities, and other support tailored to their needs. Chartered Clubs are open to all residents in good standing with the association, without discrimination or preconditions for membership.

Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups are comprised of residents that share a common interest, ethnic background, political affiliation, national heritage, etc. Special Interest Groups have not been approved for formal charter, either because they have chosen not to apply for a formal charter or they do not meet the necessary criteria for charter approval. As a result, they are not considered an official part of the HOA and are ineligible for HOA-related benefits. These groups may focus on various religious, political, or community service needs. Special Interest Groups are open to residents in good standing with the association but may be limited to specific affiliations, organizations, or have other membership criteria.

Activities

Activities are informal meet-ups that are scheduled for residents to come together to participate in a sport, game, match or other activity. Activities are not considered structured clubs or groups, do not require any membership to participate, and receive only limited benefits under the HOA.
