Garden Club

CLUB DESCRIPTION
The Sweetgrass Garden Club is a very popular chartered club for both men and women.  The Club was established in 2012 by a small group of garden enthusiasts and has grown steadily over the last twelve years to a membership of approximately 200.  The mission of the Club is to provide educational opportunities to help stimulate knowledge and love of gardening from amateurs to master gardeners and naturalists and to support the protection of native trees, plants and birds.  The Garden Club also strives to beautify our community and have done so with donations of bronze statues, trees, plants and flowers for the Nature Park, as well as fresh flowers in the Lakehouse.  We have monthly meetings at the Lakehouse with interesting speakers and provide fellowship and networking and often the ability to purchase plants, trees, flowers and other gardening needs from vendors who attend our meetings. In addition, we provide day and overnight field trips and luncheons, Yard of the Month Program, Garden/Yard tours in our community, plants swaps and much more.  Please join so for a fun way to share or learn more about gardening in our area.  It’s a great social opportunity,
